Best Breakfast Spots in LA

I’ve been asked to share some of my favorite spots in LA. I’ll start with my favorite meal of the day: breakfast. The list will include burritos, tacos, sandwiches, and brunch spots

  1. Cerveteca Culver City – Breakfast Burrito
  2. Clementine – Breakfast Sandwich
  3. HomeState (multiple locations) – Breakfast Tacos
  4. Tacos Villa Corona – Breakfast Burrito
  5. Proof Bakery (1 block from Tacos Villa Corona) – Cappuccino, Croissant, Pastries
  6. République – Quiche, Pastries
  7. Bru’s Wiffle – Chicken & Waffles
  8. The Rose Venice – Brunch
  9. Eggslut (multiple locations) – Fairfax Sandwich + Bacon
  10. Hash Playa Vista – Big Papa’s Sandwich + Bacon
  11. Sidecar Doughnuts (multiple locations) – doughnuts, basil eggs benedict

Any breakfast spots I should try?

  1. My favorite breakfast burrito is at Gjusta in Venice! They add grilled chiles, has just the right ratio of ingredients, and the tortilla is perfectly toasted. Will have to try some of your burrito recs.
